Welcome back for the final term of the year! We have had an exciting first few days back. It has been exciting to hear about what you were up to over the last few weeks as well as settle back into learning at school. Some of you may have also seen (or heard about) the new addition to our classroom. Over the next 28 days we will be hatching eggs! So far we have learnt about the many different animals that lay eggs and talked about the different eggs we have in our room. I look forward to the continued conversations and interest in another 'change' learning opportunity.

Like I mentioned in the previous post, today was an exciting day. This afternoon we continued with our kitchen chemistry.
Then we made our own batter, but changed the way we cooked it. We ended up making pancakes and waffles. We were on the look out to see what was different and what was the same.
Tahi (our one-eyed tadpole) is fast becoming a frog!! Our froglets tail is smaller every time I look at it!On Monday we were talking about tadpoles and the stages that they grow in. We still have some questions to answer and find out but soon we will also start learning about frogs! |
