Today we practiced writing our numbers in a variety of ways today, making sure we start in the correct place, forming them correctly and matching the numbers to Numicon shapes.
Practicing writing numbers, letters and words with playdough, sand, chalk, paint brushes and water or even just on paper or white boards is great practice for both school and home!
Refer to the the handwriting/formation sheet (that was given to you at your strong start meeting) to help ensure your child forming their letters/numbers correctly.

We have also been recapping our Māori numbers, playing matching games with a buddy, singing and clicking counting cards.
