We apologise that due to a technical difficulty, our Weekly Notices weren't sent on Friday. 

Please note that lost property will be placed on the seat of the Junior Playground this afternoon for you to claim anything that belongs to your family.  Any that is un-named and unclaimed will be placed out again tomorrow for families to take for free.

Kia ora Parents/Caregivers,

A reminder that the Koru Games are now just one week away (Tuesday 22 September to Thursday 24 September).

The team will travel to and from Christchurch each day in the school van, driven by Tim Dunn.

Key Information:

Dates: Tuesday 22 – Thursday 24 September
Venue: Foster Park, Rolleston
Departure: Please meet at the front of school ready to leave at 8:00am each day. Any changes based on the final draw will be communicated through Skool Loop.
Return: Students will return to school after their final game each day. Approximate return times will be communicated through Skool Loop once the draw is confirmed.
Communication: Please ensure you are subscribed to the 2026 Koru Games Group on Skool Loop, as this will be our main form of communication during the tournament.
Uniform: ACS Sports Uniform
Draw: the draw is available at https://www.selwynsportstrust.org.nz/the-koru-games/ki-o-rahi-1

Students should bring each day:

Water bottle
Sunscreen
Plenty of food for the day (there could be up to 5 games per day)
Sports shoes (touch boots with plastic sprigs are great but no rugby boots with metal studs) 
Warm clothing
A change of clothes if desired
Any personal medication required

We are looking forward to three enjoyable days of competition and to seeing the students represent ACS well throughout the tournament.

• If your child is already enrolled at our school, their place for 2027 is guaranteed.
• If you know your child will be moving to another school, letting us know now helps us offer places to families who are currently waiting to join ACS.
• If you are still unsure of your plans, we would appreciate knowing that as well.
• Your response will help us with staffing, class organisation, and future planning.
