Netball Registrations 

We are very excited to be entering school teams in the 2026 Mid Canterbury Netball Competition.  This is for both BOYS AND GIRLS.   

We are planning to enter teams in the following competitions: 

•              Year 3-4 (mixed grade) 

•              Year 5-6 (mixed grade) 

•              Year 7-8 (mixed grade) 

•              Year 9-13 (mixed grade) - Boys to the age of 14 are permitted to play 

Of course, our team entries will be limited to the number of students who register to play and subject to coach and manager availability.  Students are not able to play in different grades to their year level (for example a year 3 student cannot play in the Year 5-6 grade), which means we need enough students at each year level for a team.  

Competition dates and times are as follows: 

•              Year 3-4 (5 aside) – Term 2 (24 April– 3 July) – Friday afternoon - $65 per player 

•              Year 5-6 (6 aside) – Term 2 (2 May – 25 July) – Saturday morning - $65 per player 

•              Year 7-8 (7 aside) – Term 2-3 (2 May - 15 Aug) – Saturday morning - $800 per team (approx. $80 per player) 

•              Year 9-13 (7 aside) - Term 2-3 (2 May – 15 Aug) - Saturday afternoon - $1200 per team (approx. $120 per player)  

Fees – please note the above fees are set by Mid Canterbury Netball – we have not put any additional cost on it.  If the fees are an obstacle for you, please talk to either the office or Caitlin Francke. 

Practices: 

•              Year 3-8 - Practices will be held at school, most likely during lunch time. 

•              Year 9-13 - Practices will be held at EA on the inside courts (providing we can gain sponsorship). 

•              Year 3-8 - ACS PE uniform, polo and shorts.  Girls are able to wear a plain black sports skirt if they would prefer. 

•              Year 9-13 – uniforms provided.

We are also looking for parents or secondary students who are interested in becoming a coach, manager, or umpire, for our teams. Without these roles filled, we cannot have a team. If you are interested, please follow the registration link and change the tab from player to your desired role.  

There will not be a hard copy of registration forms sent home as this registration is put out by Mid Canterbury Netball.
