Kia ora koutou, 

I would like to spend more time getting to know the families who make up Ashburton Christian School, not only through organised events at school, but in settings where families already feel comfortable. 

So, we are trying something a little different. 

If you can bring together two or three other ACS families and send us an invitation, we will come to you. You choose the place and the people. I will attend wherever possible, along with a member of our senior leadership team or Board. 

The conversation will be informal. There is no presentation and nothing you need to prepare. We want to listen, answer questions where we can, and hear about your experience of Ashburton Christian School. We will also ask for your thoughts about our community, culture, and curriculum as we begin shaping the school’s next strategic plan. 

For me, though, At Your Place is about more than gathering information. As a relatively new principal, it is an opportunity to get to know our families better and strengthen the partnership between home and school that is so important to us as a Christian community. 

Students and other significant whānau members are welcome to join in. 

The visits will take place between 12 October and 6 November, during the day and on weekday evenings. There is no expectation of food or special preparation. A place to sit, a cup of coffee if you wish, and an honest conversation are all that is needed.

We apologise that due to a technical difficulty, our Weekly Notices weren't sent on Friday. 

Please note that lost property will be placed on the seat of the Junior Playground this afternoon for you to claim anything that belongs to your family.  Any that is un-named and unclaimed will be placed out again tomorrow for families to take for free.

Toilet Paper Fundraiser

Ashburton Christian School have opted into a fundraising opportunity that anyone can participate in. Purchase toilet paper online by following the link and the school will receive 10%.
All money raised will go towards opportunities and school activities. This year it will go towards ACS Netball.
