Ashburton Christian School is a composite school (New Entrant to Year 10) in the town of Ashburton, New Zealand. The school has been established with a desire to serve God by assisting Christian parents in the task of training and developing their children. Our vision, beliefs and practices reflect those of the Christian home and are summed up in our motto and vision statements; ones we believe they are faithful to God's call.
We see every child as uniquely made in God's image and with a set of gifts and talents to be encouraged and developed. We seek to manage behaviour restoratively, taking deliberate steps to building character in the process. Our curriculum is designed to develop competencies in deep thinking and questioning, managing themselves and relating to others from a Biblical view of the world.
To understand more about our practices and curriculum, view the relevant sections on this website. Our special character and Education Review Office reports are available on this website and will provide more insight. Feel free to contact the office staff if you would like to find out more.
